About Vision Med Flight
We built Vision Med Flight on a simple idea: the patient in the back of our aircraft should get the same quality, safety, and caring service we'd want for our own family. We provide scene response, interfacility transport, and search and rescue services across Arizona and Utah, based out of Page, Arizona. For the communities we serve, many of them rural and far from a trauma center, that proximity is often what stands between a patient and the level of care they need.
Our crews are trained to be ready for whatever the call requires, whether that's responding to an accident scene, moving a patient between facilities, or reaching someone in terrain that ground crews can't easily get to. What doesn't change from call to call is how we treat the people on board. One patient, one family, and one community at a time, we aim to provide care the way we'd want it provided to someone we love.
We started Vision Med Flight because we believe quality medical care shouldn't depend on how close you live to a city. Our goal is to bring that level of care to big and small communities alike, serving as the connection to a higher level of treatment that every patient deserves, regardless of zip code. It's a responsibility we take personally, and it's why we treat our patients, our communities, and our own employees like family.
Relationships
Vision Med Flight is only as good as the relationships we build with the hospitals, first responders, and public service agencies we work alongside every day. Across Arizona and Utah, we work with local hospitals and EMS agencies on transfers, and respond alongside fire, law enforcement, and search and rescue teams. They're part of the same community we serve, and treating them like family is what makes the rest of what we do possible.
Experience
Every member of our team brings years of hands-on air medical experience to each flight, from our pilots to our flight nurses and medics. We've built a crew of the best in the field, and every one of them is dedicated to bringing the highest level of care and service to the communities we serve.
Accountability/Safety
Safety comes first on every flight, no matter the weather, the hour, or how routine the call seems — our crews hold themselves to the same rigorous standards every time out. Accountability means never letting that slip, and always looking for ways to do it better, checking in with the hospitals and agencies we work with on how we can serve them more effectively.
